Fire and Motion

Joel Spolsky (from joelonsoftware.com) has written an article called "Fire and Motion" which gives words to the ideas and approaches that I've tried to do- that if you're in a situation where you're playing catch-up to your competitor, then you need to stop the cycle and change the terms of the battle. It's really interesting and worth remembering.
